1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites send to the user’s device (computer, tablet, smartphone) while browsing. They are stored locally and sent back to the site on later visits, allowing the site to recognise the browser and remember certain information.

Cookies can be first-party (set directly by this site) or third-party (set by external domains, such as service providers). By duration they are divided into session cookies (deleted when the browser is closed) and persistent cookies (they stay on the device for a defined period).

[Art 122 – Legislative Decree 196/2003]

2. Cookies used on this site

2.1 Technical cookies — strictly necessary

These cookies are necessary for the site to work properly. They do not collect personal information that can be used for marketing purposes and do not require the user’s consent (art. 122, paragraph 1, Legislative Decree 196/2003). Before you make a choice in the banner, the site sets no other cookie.

[Art 122 paragraph 1 – Legislative Decree 196/2003]

2.2 Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4

These cookies collect aggregated information about the use of the site (pages visited, session duration, geographic origin at area level, etc.) and are activated only if you consent to the statistics category in the banner.

Until you consent, the Google Analytics code is not loaded and the site tells Google, through Google Consent Mode v2, that all permissions (analytics and advertising) are denied. The data is used exclusively in statistical form and does not allow individual users to be identified.

2.3 Marketing cookies and third-party content

This site does not use marketing or profiling cookies. The banner nevertheless blocks third-party scripts and embedded content until you consent to the corresponding category.

[Art 122 paragraph 1 – Legislative Decree 196/2003]

2.4 Form protection without cookies — Cloudflare Turnstile

To protect the forms from spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It sets no cookies, but the browser loads a script from challenges.cloudflare.com and Cloudflare receives the IP address and a verification code. We consider it necessary for the security of the forms, so it is active even before the choice in the banner. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

[Art 6 par. 1 letter f) and Art 32 – Regulation (EU) 2016/679]

3. How to manage cookies

Through the banner and the link in the footer

On your first visit the banner lets you reject everything, accept everything or choose the categories. Until you choose, the banner stays visible and no optional cookie is active. You can change the choice at any time from the cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. The banner does not record your IP address and saves nothing on the server: the choice stays in your browser.

[Art 7 par. 3 – Regulation (EU) 2016/679; Art 122 paragraph 1 – Legislative Decree 196/2003]

Through your browser settings

You can manage, block or delete cookies directly from your browser settings. Note: disabling technical cookies may compromise the proper working of some features of the site.

[Art 122 paragraph 2 – Legislative Decree 196/2003]

Disabling Google Analytics

To disable Google Analytics tracking on all the websites you visit, you can install the official browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

4. No other trackers

This site does not use social network tracking pixels (Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.), heatmap or session recording tools, third-party widgets that set their own cookies, or other tracking technologies beyond those indicated in this policy. The fonts and images of the site are hosted on the site itself.

[Art 122 paragraphs 1 and 2-bis – Legislative Decree 196/2003]
